Couples League

Gray Eagle Friday Night Couples League

8 weeks of couple’s fun and fellowship. Weeks 2 though 7, prizes will be rewarded.  There will be a double par limit each night to help with pace of play.

The league entry fee is $40 per couple.  Each week the couple will pay $50 for the 9 holes with cart.

We start with a 5:30 Shot Gun Start each week.

Schedule

May 30th Get to Know Night:

This is a night where couples will just come out to play and get to know the course and other couples playing in the league. We will have snacks and drinks provided afterwards for some fun and fellowship.

June 14th Scramble Time:

Both players hit their tee shot. Choose which shot is better and both hit from there. Continue this until the ball is in the hole. Record your score for each hole

June 28th Cheating on Me? Nope, It’s Called a Mulligan:

You have 6 mulligans to use. 3 for each player. They may be used for any shot anywhere on the course.

July 12th Honey, Here’s My Best:

Both players hit their tee shot. The man plays the woman’s shot and the woman plays the man’s shot. Choose the best shot and both players will play their own ball from there. Both scores are counted for the total.

July 26th Blind Draw Scramble

We will draw couple’s names out of a container and pair them up for a 4 person scramble. All 4 players hit their tee shot. Choose which shot is better and all 4 hit from there. Continue this until the ball is in the hole. Record your score for each hole.

August 9th Alternate Shot:

All 9 holes will be played, but only the par 3’s will count. Both scores will be added together for the total.

August 23rd Gray Eagle Stableford:

Both players play their own ball. Once a player gets to Triple Bogey, pick the ball up.

0 points for Triple Bogey or worse
1 point for Double Bogey
2 points for Bogey
3 points for Par
4 points for Birdie
5 points for Eagle

September 6th Scramble Time II:

Due to the sun setting a bit earlier, we will have to speed up play by doing another scramble.

Both players hit their tee shot.  Choose which shot is better and both hit from there.  Continue this until the ball is in the hole.
